The new buildings are modelled on houses that once could be found in various towns around the country but don’t exist anymore. Do you feel the “sense of pastness”?Ok, now it gets a bit tricky. Look at this peeled old paint in one of the Selfoss buildings. How charming! Except for that the house is brand new, and this peeled paint is fake. But maybe we again feel the “sense of pastness”?These are a few skeuomorphs I found on my laptop.
