Tjörnin is a story about two friends who stumble upon a peculiar dent in their garden. It turns out to be a pond. Their newfound pond brings life and joy, but when chaos shows up, things get heated. As the line between curiosity and control starts to blur, the urge for order and dominance puts their friendship to a test. And their lives …
The book can now be found, in Icelandic, in most bookstores in Iceland, and online.
Hey pond friend! So, also have a pond. I didn't find it, I let my son dig (and paid him by the hour). We don't have a filter, or fountain, but I read that with the right plants and no fish we should be good. We are good so far. One day, I thought there was a snake in my pond and I got all excited and it turned out it was a humongous earthworm. Another disappointment is that after a year and a half, I still haven't seen any frogs. I am glad that we share a love for ponds!
Hvað svo??? Er tjörnin enn þá... tjörn?
