What people keep trying to not notice is that, more even than the whales, it is about one billionaire dude bending a whole country political system just to do a thing he likes to do. How can that be a thing and people defend it is beyond me. Thank you for your work, it is full of sensibility in the way that it drives the point.

You are totally right, it is beyond me as well. I could even say, fairly confidently, that there aren't really more than a dozen people here who are actually actively into whales being hunted. The rest are just, in one way or another, supportive of the corrupt system that feeds off his money. Or believers of its propaganda.

Also, I think some of us just don't really know what we can do. Most of us are just trying to make it to the end of the month, while some of these guys have enough money to rival entire nations. They can bribe pretty much anyone, and are virtually unstoppable.

Personally, I feel so powerless in my capacity of one person trying to do the right thing, even when I know so many of us are trying to do the right thing.
