i think the second chapter is how all recipes have a long nostalgic story plus atmospheric photos before they get to the point so it easily takes 6 hour to get through a few!
It didn't...felt under the weather. Just had a bagel and cream cheese (all I could manage, but with a little tabasco, I'm not a philistine). Still recovering. Am stocking the fridge with random stuff now so that come the full recovery I will be able to travel to the final frontier of culinary delights. Failing that just a short journey to something new but tasty.
Haha! Love it, very helpful too.
I like to Google for recipes that have all my random crap and nothing else for 6 hours, then go to bed hungry.

😂😂 Thank you for the wonderful chuckles with my morning coffee!! Your sense of humour is a delight each time!
morning coffee chuckles is my trade!
A dictionary for complicated recipies would be handy. Still have the jar of molasses a recipie told me to use in 1991. Didn´t know what molasses was.
Greatly tickled by your observations.
I will be putting the ingredient + Ottolenghi google to the test this evening.
HOW did it go?

Thank you for paying attention.
look mark, a bagel and cream cheese (plus the civilized tabasco) is nothing short of perfect conclusion of my culinary guidelines. i applaude!
